"Many thanks to voicebootcamp.com for their practice labs and strategy guides they offered during my study period. I started in DEC 2007 and made it on Sept 11 2008. During my preparation i realized that this lab requires expert guidance and a perfect strategy. After doing some research, i came to knew about voicebootcamp.com and Faisal ( as me and fellow friends call Faisal Khan ). Faisal / voicebootcamp has been a great support during my entire preparation times. His strategy, small tips and tricks were the one which " really made a difference " and helped me clearing the lab. The best was his troubleshooting guide. A perfect partner / must have from 2 weeks before lab. I recommend voicebootcamp.com to all the aspirants who wish to be a CCIE Voice with less attempts.
A big Thanks to Faisal again for his unconditional support !!! PS :- Along with a good trainer, he is a very nice person to be friend with. You need Faisal to sail you out in the deep sea of CCIE VOICE and specially when you have hurricane after your first attempt !!!"

I finally passed my CCIE voice lab. Big thanks to voicebootcamp's team. They are very cooperative and I always got prompt reply to the E-mail I sent to them. During my 9 months extensive journey, I skimmed through most vendor's voice workbook(s) and found voicebootcamp's following material extremely useful:
1. Free online classes : I really thank Faisal (CCIE VOICE instructor at VoiceBootcamp) for answering all my question during this online webex season [free :) ], I took 3 free online classes - Gatekeeper/Gw, IPCC scripting, Call routing. These 3 classes really helped me to understand the concept, These 3 online lectures were delivered by Faisal over the period of 2-3 months.
Everyone knows that there's no such thing as a "free lunch". I can trust that Faisal will do extraordinary in his bootcamp. I have a friend who took voicebootcamp's bootcamp and Faisal helped him even after the bootcamp was finished on MSN/phone. One day when I wasn't registered for the online [yes free] class as I messed up with the time zone and fortunately I got Faisal on skype and he helped me immediately and in a few minutes I was online in the class [thanks Faisal again for that].
2. Troubleshooting guide : It was really good one. I couldn't find any such type of material with other vendors. Troubleshooting is important part of exam and without reading Facial's this book with lot of tricks, It wouldn’t be easier have confident in the lab. Remember you only need to make 1 mistake in the lab which can cost you $1400 lunch. Imagine in the real lab if phones aren't registering to the Call manager. damn! that would mess up everything.
Thanks Faisal again on all tricks in the troubleshooting guide.
3. Voicebootcamp workbook : I didn't use workbook and practice the workbooks as I was doing other vendors workbook. I only went through the VoiceBootcamp workbook video solutions instead e.g. if i had to see how to configure IPMA, how to configure call routings etc. I took workbook solutions. I found VoiceBootcamp video solution really tricky, they helped me to build the solution in different way.
Lately I found that the update given by VoiceBootcamp to existing student constant. For example, I can't see at the moment if anyone is covering "Toll Fraud", "SIP GW and Xcoding issue" as a topic on their workbook but voicebootcamp has this lab topic in the latest version of workbook updates.
VoiceBootcamp has updated its CCIE VOICE Study Guide. Following new topic has been added:
- B-ACD Scripting
- SIP Gateways and Transcoding Issue
- Unity Networking - VPIM
- Media Resource - Multicast and Audio source from the local router
- Toll Fraud Control
I would recommend anyone who is serious about CCIE VOICE to attend some of their free lectures/seminars or review their materials or bootcamp.

I passed my CCIE VOICE 2 days after taking CCIE VOICE Bootcamp at VoiceBootcamp.com
I would like to thank the team at VoiceBootcamp for the best IT Training experience I’ve ever encountered. Let me be the first to say, that like most other IT Professionals, I’m very critical when it comes to IT Training due to the simple fact that there is a lack of quality instructors and course material out there. This holds especially true for an exam like the CCIE Voice.
It was an extremely nice refresher to meet Faisal Khan and his team at VoiceBootcamp. I’ve taken other CCIE Voice bootcamps from other companies, however there has always been a lack of communication and thoroughness, which resulted in failures when I attempted my CCIE Lab. It’s sad because a lot of training providers, the support and student interaction seems to disappear after you hand them the payment. Faisal & his team, take this to heart. They take care of their students pre and post sales, you essentially become part of the VoiceBootcamp family.
I passed by CCIE VOICE on August 18, right after the Mock Lab which I attended August 11 to 15 2008. This is a fantastic course and experience. Beginning or End of your CCIE Journey take this course! Let me tell you a secret about VoiceBootcamp. They have an unlimited retake policy and great resources. Most importantly, passion for teaching. The Mock lab is such a great tool to determine exactly where you fall technically and mentally. So, why not get what you can from testing your experiences through time trials? When adding the methodology and criticism from an Instructor like Faisal, the package falls complete. Thoroughness is the key to passing the CCIE, and the large gap between the theory and practical is filled by the team at VoiceBootcamp.
Let me put this simply as possible. If you are serious about obtaining your Voice CCIE. VoiceBootcamp is the difference between passing and failing.

I would like to thank Faisal and Voicebootcamp for there help in assisting me to achieve my Voice CCIE. The voice track is by far the hardest, it has taken several attempts to for me pass. Faisal has continued to provide support and access to the VoiceBootcamp resources far above and beyond what I would have thought reasonable, and for this I am very greatful. I would whole heartily recommend Voicebootcamp to any potential candidate. Once again Faisal.
Thank You, Mike Stevenson CCIE#4165 (R&S, Security, Voice)
